For most of us, our garage is simply a place to store things, to work on our hobbies or simply pop your car in at night. But for others around the world, their garage is a much more impressive part of the home.
Here at Compton Spares.com, we are proud of the beautiful concrete garages that we offer our clients. However, just to give you a bit of inspiration, let us showcase some of the most expensive and awe-inspiring garages from around the world.
Jerry Seinfeld’s Manhattan Garage
There is so much to love about comedian Jerry Seinfeld’s Porsche garage. Not only is it hidden away from plain sight, but it also has a lift that takes privileged visitors into its heart. The garage is three stories and is believed to be the home to 46 Porsches. If that wasn’t enough then the garage also has a billiard table, bathroom, office and a kitchen too! It’s practically a mini home.
Francis Wisniewski’s Vegas Themed Garage
Clearly wanting to bring a touch of his Las Vegas home to Chicago, this Management CIO decided to create a rather impressive garage to store his prized cars. As you know, the biggest part of Las Vegas is indulgence and grandeur.
Boasting 15,000 square-feet, this garage has an avenue with glossy red pillars, a small basketball court and even a mini casino to boot.
John Travolta’s Bigger Is Better Garage
For some garage owner’s, size really does matter and this is definitely the case for John Travolta. Not only does his garage have enough space for 15 cars it also holds a Gulfstream Jet, Boeing 707 and a variety of support vehicles too. Add into this the 1.4 mile runway and it is hard not to be impressed by this amazing garage.
Emirates National Auto Museum
Sometimes a garage can become so vast that it is treated as a museum, showcasing collections of cars. The garage of Hamad Bin Hamdan al-Nahyan is a pyramid shaped building in the middle of the desert. This UAE Royal Family member is thought to own somewhere in the region of 200 cars including a Russian WWII Tank and the biggest Dodge Jeep in the world.
So impressive is his collection that it is open to the public. The building is almost like a small city, boasting streetlights, park benches and even a rotunda.
The Most Expensive Garage In The World
Now, we have to admit that this former garage may be slightly cheating when it comes to our list, but it is still rather impressive if you ask us.
During 2015 a property sold in Mayfair that was once a garage that housed Bentleys. Whilst it had been transformed into a Mews home (with a garage built in of course) we have to say that we were pretty impressed with the £24 million price tag that went with it.
Hopefully you have enjoyed diving into the world of the luxurious garage, and if this article has inspired you, then the first place to start could be treating yourself to a brand new garage.
If this sounds like you, then why not give us a call here at Compton Spares.com? Whilst we cannot promise you the same as these garages, we can give you a well-made concrete garage that will last you a lifetime!
