A Case Study: Mr. Perkins, Surrey Lean-to

We know that Mr Perkins was delighted with our recent installation since he couldn’t wait to tell us so. Things didn’t start too well since the door wasn’t left unlocked and despite the roof being boarded, we did manage to get inside (with the customers blessing of course!).
With the boards and the felt removed we were very fortunate to have found remaining roof supports were set at distances far less than the span of a roof sheet so adding purlins was not necessary.

Our office had suggested early on that an anthracite coloured roof with matching flashings would be complimentary to the property and it made sense to renew the guttering at the same time.
I don’t about know you but there’s something very soothing about the perfect symmetry of those roof fastenings?
